Reliable dealer near central Virginia

Picked up the 1290 from a dealer that sells mainly off-road bikes. Called to schedule first service and they seemed beyond clueless as to what needed to be done. Called a few other dealers and it didn't seem much better. I'm looking for a recommendation from anyone that has had a good dealer experience in regards to servicing your bike in the Virginia area. Neighboring states like Maryland and North Carolina would be possible for me to drive to as well.

Ha! good luck my friend. near as i can figure there is one near Baltimore, and one in Roanoke (these guys seem pretty good to me, my buddy has his Yamaha serviced with them and they are pretty good guys). i believe Virginia beach has one but i think they deal in dirtbikes.
Apparently there is a Honda dealer on Broad st, Richmond, and KTM is trying to merge with them, im keeping my fingers crossed.
i service my own 990 or have the local Ducati guy take care of the stuff i choose not to.
