Repeat Question

I'm sure this has been asked a thousand times...but here goes, sorry. I'm going to be buying the MotoHoligan box. Should I go ahead and get the secondary flies too, is it needed? The bike is going to be put on a dyno with a PC. Also, are the rear tank mounts worth it? I don't plan on taking my tank off much after the moto box install. Any other advice would be great too. Any thing else I should be looking to buy? Bike is fitted with FMF's already. Also, I take it the K&N that comes with the box is different from stock, the reason I ask is because I have a BMC sitting in the garage?

If you fit the motobox on it's own you will get the twittering noise coming from the throttle bodies. It's like riding around with a bag of canaries on board.

If you fit the flies at the same time you will not get the twittering noise.

Thanks fellas! I guess I'll get the flies, what the hell. I have read a little bit on tunecu, but the thought of plugging a computer into my bike and messing with fuel maps scares the shit out of me. I'd mess it up, I'm not really computer savy. I'll leave the tune to the pros.

Would it be a good idea to install the PC myself when I install the box? The wires run under the tank right? How difficult is it to install (again computers and wiring scare the shit out of me)? Where's a good place to place/install the PC itself, under the seat?

The PC will fit under the seat. Here's a few pics of my '07 showing where I put it.

HI THERE , IVE JUST FITTED THE MOTOBOX, SECONDRY FLIES AND PUT A POWER COMMANDER ON AT THE SAME TIME, ALL OK MODDS. BOUGHT THE TANK MOUNTS AT THE SAME TIME , WASTE OF MONEY AS MY TANK HAS BEEN OFF A FEW TIMES NOW AND NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH LINING UP BOLTS AS THEY JUST FALL INTO PLACE , I STUCK WITH THE TRIED AND TESTED POWERR COMMANDER AS IVE FITTED THEM BEFORE AND NEVER HAD PROBLEMS AND CANT BE BOTHERED WITH NEW GIZMOS WHEN THE OLD SYUFF STILL DOES OK ,, MINES AN 09 MODEL IF THAT MAKES A DIFFERENCE TO THE TANK PROBLEM

I put mine in the headlight mask, but it's an 05 so the mask is huge.

Plenty off room in the later 08 masks to fit the PCIII as well - that's where mine is located.
