Replicast front race cowl

Does anybody no if the 08 replicast race cowl comes with a solid top or if it comes with the holes pre-cut to take the later clocks?

I want to update the front end but i intend to mount an 05 rev counter like this -



And need to no if the top is solid so will just require cutting to take the rev counter, or if ive gotta fook about with black plastic/perspex fill ins?

Bought mine last year mate and it came cut out ie narrow oblong shape and three pre drilled hole's like so:

So in your opinion could i cut a hole out approx 2inch across to mount an early rev counter?

I would get some 3mm black perspex from ebay and make a fascia using that, will look neat and easy to work with, with a dremel.
