Hello
I keep wondering how reverse shifter would b , since i have zero experience with em wondering if i can get some feedback from anyone who's running them about pro's and con's of the thing.
and how quickly do you adapt to the upside down pattern.

Switching between two different bikes with opposite shifting patterns must drive the brain krazy

contemplating getting the kit

There is a short brain adjustment period. My track bike has reverse shift. The First day I stuffed up several times. The second track day only a couple times.

But gotta say, they should be reverse shift standard. So much easier stomping down to change up when you're used to it.

Now I can go between track and street bike with ease, but if an opportunity arises to change the road bike to reverse cheaply, I'll do it!
You get used to it fairly quickly, I still had the odd fook up when you dont want it i.e. on track.

The only reason I had it was try and cure the crap gear changes on track, if you dont have that issue, dont bother.
I much prefer reverse pattern. It can be interesting jumping on EXC after though but that actually makes more sense to be standard patern. There is the occasional cock up but tends to be on the EXC
Gp/reverse shift on all my bikes. So much easier accelerating from a stop and rowing through the gears
OK then - done deal - the consensus is in ........ Reverse shifting kit on the way..........

thnx
I guess installing a reverse shifter kit makes it so ya don't loan your bike out much do you
You should be aware that quickshifters get in the way with the reverse gear shift kit.

I had to give up using the kit as I couldnt fit it together with my quickshifter. I tried both with a Rizoma rearset and a PP tuning reat. Same (bad) result.

So I'm now back with normal shifting
Ive been toying with gp gearing for a while .Now im going to do it! Any one
