Riding in Canada on December 4th

Went out for a ride yesterday...December 4th...for about 2 hours...down every fast twisty road I could find......it temporarily warmed up ahead of a freezing rain front...it was warm enough...about 7 degrees C. ...I had long underwear and my leather jacket and very warm gloves..didn't feel cold at all...roads were a bit wet, no ice really...but snow on the side of the road...it was great..Probably the last ride of the year...but I'll try for a day in January...

Remember, this is Canada....most bikes are long put away for the winter...

Got about a foot of snow last night..I have to face facts..Its over...its time to take the battery out (I hate doing that) and put the SD to sleep for the winter...Time to get the Yamaha SR-500 project bike (500cc street tracker)back up on the workstand and get wrenching...try to forget...ah well..Spring is only about 4 months from now...
