#4I used to have those boots and had no problems, but my pants go inside my boots so there is padding.

Well the boots should be worn in but I was just wearing jeans. Good point about the padding of pants. (I just had my jeans pulled over the boots).
It should be better when I'm wearing my leathers. I also wasn't riding hard so there wasn't much moving around.
