Riding wheelies in Los Alamos

So there I was on a Saturday afternoon at Ghost Riders tavern in Los Alamos, Ca with a few friends. Quite a collection of bikes we had, a Duc, a Harley, a Busa, and my SDR. As we are sitting outside shooting the shit we hear this rumble coming fast down the main drag of town. We look over to see an orange SD going by one one wheel. We all gave him mad props for his wheelie riding skills. Then a minute later we hear the same rumble coming and the same orange SD once again going by on one wheel. I wonder who this masked rider could have been. Any ideas Mr. Dribble?

when I pass ghost riders, the usual approach is wheelie time to mess with the air cooled belt driven crowd.
When i saw the Duc and KTM, which is rare, I had to do a double salute. My son works at the restaurant by the Chevron and I have been known to give him some amusement while filling customers cups.
Funny thing is I was followed home by the local constable who I never saw till I was parked and taking my helmet off he was right next to me and caught me by surprize. He said that my shinanigans will get me in big trouble next time, shook my hand and said settle down. Gosh I love small towns. there are more gas powered people movers in strange clothing than any big town can get away with. Hell kitty corner to my in town lot is a dirt TT track the kids fire around all Saturday long.

We will hook up soon, You need to do a Tepesque run. short and sweet. The full on Sunday rides are difficult at best.

I knew it had to be you. I'm not a big fan of tempesque. Kind of narrow in places. I don't like the idea of sharing a lane with on coming traffic.

Good to know about the lack of traffic. The corners are nice and tight. Fun SD road.
