Rosso Corsa vs Rosso 2 for 1290

Hello fellas. I was wondering about the best choice for a 1290 SD. Most of the time it will be on roads and some-few trackdays. I used to own an SD 990 and with Rosso 2 I was not afraid so much in the rain. Being said that I was always avoiding rainy days because the torque of the SD was too dangerous in wet greek roads. Apart the wet grip, Rosso 2 was a great tyre for me in the road and also at the trackdays. So I would go another round with this but I know that Rosso Corsa has better grip.

So I was thinking that with the new SD and all of its electronics, driving to wet roads would be much safer than with the 990. So should I go to the Corsas or stay to the familiar to me Rosso 2. I am just thinking of Corsas because I think the new SD's electronics will help you in terms of mileage and wet grip, where Rosso 2 is better than Corsa.

Hope my words make sense, and looking forward for your replies.

Cheers everybody

Ok Rosso 2 maybe is not the top of the tops but its a great tyre and in the top 10 i.m.o. I was very pleased with this tyre and didn't feel danger at all But maybe Rosso Corsa is far better and that's why I posted this thread.

Yeah, I've heard the Rosso II rated up with the DCIII in terms of shit tyres. Of course that isn't exactly fair, the DCIII was actually a VERY good tyre. Provided you were running on a track and had tyre warmers, it was like running a DOT race tyre on the street ....you couldn't keep them up to temp on the road.

I actually liked the Super Corsa SP better than the Rosso Corsa on my 675 I was entertaining getting the OEMs off of the Pangiale for my next tyre change.
