Run ITG Air filter without oil?

Will an ITG air filter work for street use without oil?

I understand that the filtration will be better with oil but can it harm the engine if you don't oil it for road use?

What oil should i use on it?

Dont run it dry mate, it will allow dust particles into the engine and cause premature wear.
Use the oil recommended by the filter manufacturer and clean the filter regularly. I do mine every 1000K's.

Do you only use it onroad?

And is the filter very dirty after 1000 km's?

My equivalent Rottweiler intake has done 10k miles without oil....... It will be fine dry.... Your not riding Baja are you?
