Running a 2/3 system from new?

Hi guys.The sound of the new 1290 is getting me fired up before i even own it(sure you can understand).So would running a no-cat link pipe and can from new be undesirable?Or should i wait till after first service?(I normally would).Even after the first service would running the bike with a no cat link pipe and aftermarket can without a remap cause engine problems?A few guys seem to think not

Installed my GP3 prior to first service without any apparent issues, didn't get the remap done till after though.
