something I have allways wonderd abowt. well I got strait arnser to day from KTM stealer ,

Beleyve it or not ! ........... when you have the Race maps enstald to your SD' EG Akra map ! ........The 2nd and 3rd gear restrickshon is not swiched off

so even with a race mape loaded you still need to pull the wiers ,get them cowls off boys .

I got the opposite answer from my dealer, but I pulled the wires anyway.

I had it explaind to me today ,in short the ECU dose not talk to thoughs wiers ,they talk to the Air kleening sistem and there dyodes and thats it , and the Lamder sniffers are allso swiched off, no wonder mine is running so well .

Interesting. I don't doubt you, but I wonder how the ECU knows to apply the 2nd/3rd restriction (assuming the ECU plays some role in that) if it doesn't talk to those wires?
