....... i give his final drivers license point a 1% chance of survival...........his license is toast!! ........ he couldn't pilot a set of roller skates responsibly
There is hope! (although not for that poor bike, it's ruined!) On the radio the other day they were talking about the fact there are over 2000 drivers with over 12 points who still legally have their licences. One dude in Swindon has 39 points and still has his! Damn he must be noshing the magistrate off.

You boys need to import some of our good ole fashion rednecks to the UK. Give them a pickup with a tow hitch, a length of chain and watch your speed cameras disappear.

I lived in the Los Angeles South Bay for a number of years and there was one particular freeway traffic signal that the CHP used to use to give a ton of tickets. It truly served no other purpose. The damn thing was on at the stupidest times (usually when there was not another car on the road) and stayed red forever. One day, it just disappeared leaving only a hole.

A few weeks later, it reappeared in a more robust, more fortified, version. Within days, it too disappeared leaving a much bigger hole. Of course, the State had to have its way, so it installed the grand daddy of all traffic signals. The concrete slab housing this behemoth was at least 6' by 6' and probably 2' thick reinforced concrete. This time, surely it could not be yanked out - and they were right. It took some high explosives to extricate that signal. The resulting hole was quite impressive. They gave up on the signal. After all, everyone knew it served no purpose except to provide the CHP with a revenue stream.
God bless America!!! If only we had an underground movement over here that's sole purpose was to destroy every stationary/fixed camera... None of this nanny state bullsh!t

Check out this website. Lots of political/enforcement stories, but wade through a few pages. Folks world wide like to destroy traffic cameras, especially the French.

It happens in the UK. Every now and then you will pass a Gatso thats burnt out. The fave method is to lob a tyre over it and ignite (so I hear).

There's s Truvelo on some road going into Kent just off the M25 thats been burnt out for months...it's all hanging off at a weird angle n everything.

Surely once a camera site becomes more costly to run than it makes it is likely to be abandoned....?
Theres loads of burnt out 1s in a shit hole called Walsall close to me, although i doubt its motorists setting them alight in that area, more likely bored kids
