SD price?

Went down to the dealer today. I can't take it anymore! I need this bike now. I'm in Cali Bay area. Is $13,300 a good price for a 08 new SD?

I only buy new bikes. If anyone is going to 'F' up the bike, it will be me.

For $700 more you could a SDR up here in Portland at KTM Northwest.

11.5 is a good number, especially in the current trend of poeple NOT buying MCs. 13.3 is closer to list than you think.
Ace Motorsports (East BAy) has a white one on ebay for $11,700 buy now.

Im in Southern California and paid 12,200 OTD. I cant think the demand is more in the bay area than in LA. Its a fun bike at any price.

I live 1 mile from Santa Monica KTM and have been in there about 10 times trying to strike up a deal. They have been sitting on an 07 for over 18 months and 3 08's for over 6 months and yet they don't want to deal. I keep getting the same story how these bikes are so rare and valuable.

I told them about 2 SoCal dealers who sold their 07's OTD for $10,700 back last spring and they didn't want to come close to it. As matter of fact the sales guy said he would see if he could get nearer to that price and he never called me back.

They also have a huge staff turnover and the guys there know little about KTM street bikes.

Another thing to keep in mind is that some dealers are listing 08's on Ebay with starting bids of $8000USD and getting no bids. Anyway...

Thats my 2 cents for what its worth.

true dat, the SDR will have a better resale value and this is the only reason I have recently asked 4 area dealers if they had seen an 08 SDR come across the floor....

nope is the answer thus far all of these dealers are still sitting on 07 SD's.

In this hostile economy there will be excellent deals struck in the next 6 months on all static inventory, unless they want wallflowers hangin out.

RockStoreRider, I have seen them more willing to deal on other models like your bike and the 950 SM.
