Hey all,

The SD I bought off BigTobyD less than 2 weeks ago was stolen in broad daylight in Central London this afternoon! Needless to say I'm gutted but I thought I would post on here on the off chance that someone comes across all or part of my bike on the internet or in person.

Registration - J666 KTM

I'm going to post on the UK KTM forum as well.

Thanks
Konan
ah, dude sorry to hear.

it happened to me about a month ago, but a mate found it and we stole it back.
Quite good chance of getting it back I think, er, if you had an alarm/immobiliser on it. Even though for mine the thieves very professionally took the ignition to bits I think with most modern alarms the ecu is all locked up and won't start unless they can fully pull to bits in a private workshop- and then I guess the ECU needs to be flashed to start.
Bummer dude

Shit news mate. Having my bike nicked in central London is my constant worry. I usually pay £3 to park on brewer street these days.

My old SD got lifted the year before last (poland St NCP), but we found it and I got it back, plus I saw the same gang trying to pinch an Adv 950 and got them nicked and to court... so there can be happy endings.

Look around local estates, etc... Check out berry place near Kings Cross where a local gang live. Central London and Soho are thier bike-nicking zone.

Other estates north of holloway road are worth checking too.

...is that Seth's old number plate?
