#3I finally got to take my bike on a canyon run today. I have only ridden it back and forth to work with minimal sideroads when the opportunity arose....
Holy shite do I love this bike more with every ride!
I was taking the corners of Bouquet and San Fransiquito Canyons with complete and total confidence, ass firmly in the seat(I have never touched a knee down, but I have also never really tried).
It seemed the bike was begging to be ridden harder with every turn, and it just made it SOOOOOOOO much fun.
I am no racer. The only type of track I have ever ridden is a motocross track. After today's session, I feel a trackday may be in order.
I feel we really do own one of the best bikes on the road. Period.

#11I tried a couple of times to get knee down on the SD and damned near wrecked it every time. Something about the weight balance totally fecked up the suspension response. Now I tuck my inside knee against the upper slider and lean forward over the the forks with much better results. I still move my ass to the inside of the seat, but I find the SD height and geometry is kind of strange for hanging off.
