So - in the spirit of live market research, and to answer this often mooted question, I decided to just do it.

08 SDR, 3500 dry miles - all in a straight line, judging by the tyres.
...and...
Full Akra (natch)
PCIII
Motohooligan Airbox
Carbon bits
Full thatcham alarm

will soon have:
Slipper clutch
Cycle Control rearset adjutors & angled footpegs
Full RG protection, tail tidy and LED indies.
Black anodised clutch cover
KTM comfort seat

...and some round profile tyres without chicken strips. LOL.

To be honest I wasn't expecting this to be a major upgrade - but I was wrong. The motohooligan airox, akras, and larger injectors bits, tuned by PDQ make for a seriously potent engine that feels raw and angry - and the induction roar... I'm still laughing out loud.

The best review I can give is to say it's like my SD took steroids, went to the gym, and got some cool tattoos and a mohican. Same bike - just MORE..

You guys with the motohooligan airboxes were 110% right. Not sure my neighbors will ever speak to me again though.

Yeah looks very nice. I love the look of the SDR, just think it would be a bit too hardcore for daily use. I do a lot of commuter miles.
Been thinking about sticking a motobox on mine though. Glad to hear they're worth it.
