I was at T-Hill Monday and Tuesday and there were two others there. One SDR and a carboned out SD. The R popped a coolant hose and fouled turn 4 with coolant.Made for a bummer of an entrance and exit basically blowing 3 and 5 exit/entrance, respectively. The bright side was that they ran cars on the track during lunch break and the cars removed all the coolant and sweep.
The guy on the SDR just so happened to have an RC8 as a spare bike, so the poor bastard had to ride that one.
He and his group of Ducatistas were a nice bunch. The carbon SD guy was riding in the slow group and I don't pay attention to the slow group.(clearing throat, clearing throat).
Still get tons of people coming up and admiring the bike. Still get the questions like "did that thing come with street tyres?"
I kept up with all but the fastest guys on the track, except that 12 year old on a very fast 125 GP bike. That little shit!!! Didn't look like he braked at all, ever. He seemed to go at one speed around the entire track. Mesmerizing!
Oh to be young again! Nevermind!
p.s. The hose that blew was the one that is short and possibly 2cm in diameter and sticks out at a right angle from the front cylinder on the right side. Clamp was intact but the hose popped off. Future attempts to re-clamp failed.
