Security

Just a quicky.. I've put a deposit down on a 2006 model here in Paris and should be receiving it in a week or so.. (10200 Euros all in for the record)...

Anyway, as my last decent bike (a ZX10R) was nicked, I was wondering if anyone here has any good solutions for carrying a decent lock around on their bike? Obviously there's no storage to talk of and I'm not too keen on falling onto a lock in my pocket or bag if I come off, so just wondering, what do you do?

Hi, I've got an Abus granite disc lock under the seat - on it's side, on the left side of the storage tray bit. Bit of a tight squeeze though!

I have absolutely no room under the seat for a disc lock, so i just put it throught the strap on the seat when i'm riding.

I've an Abus Granite Lock as well but I would not buy one after seeing this add on You Tube:
They seem to be a very good lock for a decent price...

I keep a hoofing great chain and padlock on the tankbag....but then I have to remove the tankbag so that doesn't get stolen

Well, since the ZX10R was nicked, I invested in an Almax chain and it is very good and very heavy.. Trouble is it's not really portable.. I think a good U lock is good for out and about cos it needs to be locked to something if poss.. Thanks for your replies so far.....

At least lock it in style...
