Selling my SD :( Need some parts please

Hi guys, unfortunately I am selling the Duke. I have received two heavy speeding fines (both which I am fighting) in the last 2 months and a result may lose my license (which I need for work).

Before the sale I would like to replace the right foot peg, and right hand side engine case (from a stationary drop).

does anyone have any spare bits or a wreck that could help me out?

What do you mean by engine case exactly?

And that was a short run mate, how fast were you going to warrant losing your license?

Hey Az what you could do is bog that scrape and then just paint the V section black.
So the LC8 KTM section would still stay the stock colour.
It would look cool..

To be fair the parts your after are not that expensive, and used clutch covers go for half the price of new ones.

We all bought a load of footpegs ages ago because someone was selling them at £10 a pair, DHM footpegs if you search, they were for a an Aprillia RSV Mille so something like this should fit:

Have a read of this thread not sure if its the old shape RSV mille or the newer one prior to them bringing out the V4, or if they are the same for both models.

Sorry to hear about the fines mate. It is almost impossible to ride around the speed limit on these fun toys, they egg you on out there haha. Hope all goes well and you can keep your licence.

Brand new clutch covers are $89 from Brisbane ktm (springwood)

Going to replace it with another bike or have a rest for a bit?

Still got your factory Airbox here which is gathering dust.

Thanks mate, it's going to be very hard to let her go, but apprently I find it harder to keep my right hand in check. I have the track bike and took it to QR on the weekend. Had a lot of fun running round the outside on some of the bigger bikes :-p

The new pic of your bike looks great, how is the tune running? Mine was playing up and we've established it was corrupt. Need to drop into pro cycles again and get it modified again.

Shit yeah sorry, Ive been preoccupied with holidays and work. Will get round there in the next few weeks.

Yeah, it would be hard. Awesome! What model track bike did you end up getting?

My bikes tune is running perfect, except I am still missing some of the low end oomp. Loving the bike though!.

No rush to grab the airbox, its not going anywhere.

Just a little VFR400 - ex race bike that won the F3 championship last year so its fully prepped. Good base to learn proper race craft on.

When I see Bass I think of fish, I do not think of Bass as base.
Keenaz is fishing for parts not a deeper sound.
Me, I'd keep the Superduke and run circles around that fouhundred.
You could have the better of both worlds with just a little bit of circumspect.
I'll go tackle another sad sap who is opting out of Superdukery.
Motorcycles don't get speeding tickets, Bass fisherman do.
