This goes allong with the ?new SD????
There has been a rise to the non semetrical bike building as of late. I am wondering if a very symetrical approach is more pleasing to most.
This follows from headlamps to single sided swingarms and exhaust planted to one side.
My eye likes symetry and gets confused too easily from asymetric shapes.
This is why the Duke II was a pleasure with the double exhaust and the parabolic headlamps. There have been discussions I have semi followed that people did not care for the DL650 solely due to the look of one exhaust verses the DL 1000 dual and even looking. BMW can have thier stroke patient front ends.
