ATGATT...

Except for last Sat. when I wore jeans instead of my Dainese leather pants
I've been riding with my Salomon hiking boots for the past few years. I've had two offs and they've been great. They've go up around the ancle and you can tuck the laces in. They have good grip are very comfortable and I can take my bike up a mountain and go hiking...

I've recently purchased full leathers and Sidi Corsa boots which are great for protection (and looks) but I've found they give almost too much feel, i.e. a lot of vibration causing my foot to go a little numb.. and you can't really walk too far before it gets uncomfortable..

I wear these for short trips, usually combined with draggin' kevlar jeans

They're comfy, lightweight and have more protection than any hiking boot or trainer, long trips I always wear leathers/waterproofs and Gaerne G-RW boots.
hiking boots for me too. i do have a pair of mx boots but they're impossible to use.
i wouldn't wear trainers at all.
I've worn trainers in the past....once I hit some dust mid corner, as the bike slipped away I put a foot down at about 25mph (or maybe less) to stop the bike going down on the right side....my toes slammed into the end of the trainers and it really fecking hurt!! It was such a minor thing, and I though shit, if that was a full on stack i'd have been fooked.....so now I wear my boots all the time. Same with gloves....anyone who doesnt wear gloves is really taking risks imho.....but what others do is none of my business.
Daytona Shorty w/ clothes or Dainese "Race" (only w/ the leather gimp suit).

I'll carry my trainers in my messenger bag to work & change there. I protect my hands/feet like I do my head. ATGATT.

Easy to walk around all day in these.
