Shopping for a SD in Oz

Hi Folks,

I am sold on the idea of getting a SD. I am in Melbourne and originally wanted to get one in white trim. I am told none of these were imported in 08 and they will start to come in 09. Second to this i liked the 07 model in grey / titanium / anthracite colour. Some dealers still have 07 bikes in stock i have not seen a grey one.

The speculators are reporting the economic slowdown is going to hit retail spending. It is expected this will result in overstocked retailers dumping already committed import stock to raise cash. Once the surplus stock is gone the new stock will be cost valued at the current exchange rate and the prices will be higher.

Now might be the time to go in and negotiate a good price on a bike. If anyone is a aware of any new grey 07 SD at dealers around OZ. Let me know so i can try to get a good deal.

say Aussies, if you are not quite happy wit da color I can hook you up for some different colored panels so don't bust a vein on color unless it is red,

Anthracite is nice, and you can always buy new plastic bits to change it to white/orange/black/SDR colors.

Is the 08 in the dark colour the one your after?, I'm not sure what the colour is called, there is one in Brisbane, saw it on friday

Jeez man they are inexpensive, I have read here many times for men with such great height as you, be as happy as a clam when going from the starwars space ship deflector as seen above to the skidmarx that looks as good as the stocker.... maybe better, through a sight kick-out towards the top, I want one too BTW.

Using that bikesales.com.au tip i found this:

Looking at this bike it has aftermarket pipes. Can anyone ID those and tell me what they are and if it is a good or bad modification to have.
