#15Do you ever carry a pillion on you're SD and if so how does it compare to the SMR ( from the pillion's point of view ) ?? Is it possible to fit some sort of grab rail to an SD ?? ( the other half is always nervous she's going to go over the back ).

#16Pillion on the SD was do-able but better with . Grab rails and stuff look shite on an SD and are hard to fit with anything but stock cans.
The main problem isn't the missus going over the back - she's so close to you she nuts you every time you roll off the throttle or brake

#22I've owned a 950SMR and a SD.
Sd has great points, so does the SMR. Both have downsides too.
SD fuelling is crap at low speeds. SMR's is nicer.
SMR is slow and underpowered compared to a SD... quite considerably to be honest.
Windblast is same on both.
Handling, well depedns what riding position you prefer to be honest. Both are pretty good.
Out of the 2... Hmmmmm
