Lets get back on track with some proper hooliganism, post up a pic of your trashed, smashed and crashed SD, I will start.

After crash 1, minimal damage:

After crash 2, substantial damage:

I have plenty of pics of others so dont be shy
Here is mine from the 2010 Crashfest. Front tyre deciding it wanted nothing to do with staying gripped at Barn and we both ended up sliding into the grass

Substantial?

You fly-weight -it's hardly scuffed!

Viking is gonna school us in this thread!

Dont you have any photos with Klincky in a manly pose?
It's all I've got to work with though Pete

Kinda hoping it remains that way as well
These things almost crash as good as a supermotard, nice!

What speeds did these crashes happen?

I had nearly 1KM run up for mine.
Estimate speed at bike/rider seperation 120MPH

F.uck me, Dan's Red Bull SD was the boss. Lovely looking bike.

Not my skills though Dan.
The group I went with rebuilt it, it was so wet they didn't want to ride,I just passed them bits.
Claire (Lily) was working on it with a cast on her wrist (which she cut off that night so she could ride the next day)

Lily and Jon did a great job on the bent frame lugs for the footpegs.

Somehow a little voice inside my head says "Nom nom nom"

Even the scenery cowers when a superduke goes by!
FACT: Dan did not crash at 2010 Crashfest.

His superduke got angry with the tarmac.

Twice.
Stacked it on a ride with Scamb66... Can't see it well but bent the subfame good and proper.
The bit that hurt the most is the brand new tank... Tear to the eye...
Picked up a few fractures as well, hope to be good in two weeks though.

I think I prefer this thread to the Show n Shine as this is what happens when you're in the middle of having too much fun
Retitle thread to "Bin it to win it!" ???

Don't forget Drswade.....he got an ugly one too.....hurt pretty bad
I think (Ken ?) someone around, has pics of my 'throw down' last fall. Meh, If it weren't the last session of the day, could've easily had it rolling again in an hour. Which would have had no bearing on my having to pick, blow-off, and vacuum out the rather coarse, crystalline desert sand out of every nook and cranny over the next month ... At least KTM spec the switchgear like that on a dirt bike: All (including ignition) had to be disassembled down to the contacts, but worked great after assembly and re-greasing (dielectric).

Now, how all that sand got into the headlight housing and gauge module, I'll never know ...

First thing I noticed when revisiting these pics was the beautiful new tyres that I only got to do 7 or so laps on!

Ya mate. It was me that weren't fixable.
I sold it to some dickhead who tried to take some of our mates here.
The bike was not that far off but the insurance company totaled it anyway due to the ridiculous cost of replacement KTM parts.
Much of the bike lives on with guys here on the forum.

I didn't post these before as in my mind it isn't a crash - I didn't fall off the tyres!

This was the result of a very wealthy Jock failing to look ahead of him while riding a very £££££ 1098R.
His bike attempted to mount poor old Daisy Duke.
Daisy's reaction was to yell " I ain't no bitch" and launch the hapless Ducati and pilot up into the air, through 90 degrees and onto the ground where they turned into a rather expensive shower of carbon fiber.

My friend who was just behind us on his ex ten Kate fireblade said " It was like riding through the aftermath of a plane crash."

Diasy then coasted smoothly to a halt on the grass allowing me to dismount in a far more traditional manner.

Something like my man Jason Pridmore's crash?
Pretty scary!

HOLY CRAP, did he have an ejection seat on that bike ?

edit: I thought that bit of fairing flying was the rider.
2 days ago at Infineon...really glad was able to get it back on track by lunch.

Good excuse to upgrade to Akra Evo Titanium exhaust. The top-block sliders saved the day.

Yea one of my favorites too. That bike battled hard. Now it's battling for it's life - off life-support now, steadily improving
