single blip on throttle nearly kills engine while stopped

This seems to be very random when this condition happens. I typically blip the throttle before riding off from a complete stop. In one instance, I blipped the throttle and the engine nearly dies as if it lost gas. However, it seemed to recover and everything is normal afterwards.

Anyone else experience this?
