Single Muzzy on SD

Hi, some pictures of this week's project. Started with a Muzzy carbon can for a 04 model ZX10. I had to make a new connection pipe as the original titanium link was never going to fit

Started with a 63mm Dia U shaped stainless steel premade bend. Measured it and cut in to pieces.

Measuring and tape them together with electrical tape to make initial shape. Got a professional welder mate to TIG it together as my welding is crap.

Started it up and so loud that I had to put earplugs in.... obviously designed for a bike with a cat in it or so.... Awwwww!!! (and I like loud)
Quickly made a baffle from a left over piece of tube. I make a proper one next week.

Will load AKRA map in to PCIII and do test run in the morning.

looks like you could have a carbon fibre 'tube' to carry your touring gear... would fit nicely in the spare spot me thinks.. maybe a dummy can as the tube

Yeah, I like that you tried something different but because the bike is designed around two cans the left side now just looks unfinished and not pretty.

Removing the tail would proably help or some sort of nice cover piece to hide the exposed undertray and heatshielding.

Or a fake carbon exhaust with a hidden nitrous bottle inside could be interesting

Some years ago Two Brothers (aka Dos Homos) offered a slip-on system for the Honda 919 where the right side muffler was functional and the left side was a dummy- to be used as a 'stash can.' Nice job on your Muzzy carbon slip-on.[/quote]

Anyone ever just sit back and look at the posts we make here on performance? We are always looking to improve the power of a bike that is just on the edge of being dangerous to ride for most people! The SD is a WICKED bike and yet we still want more! OK, so I fit into that category as well but..nitrous bottle!?!? Jester, there is something wrong with you! Ha!
Anyone remeber that Eigli Kawasaki with the bottle on the tail that the designers never hit because they were afraid? It would spin the wheel at 100+ mph in 3rd gear! Imagine a SD with the RC8R motor and...a nitrous bottle!!!!!!
