Good morn'un everyone,
I took the SDR out for a nice (albeit still very cold) first run on saturday and absolutely love it! I didn't find most of the things people have mentioned before an issue (such as fueling - maybe i got a good one or maybe because im used to twins?) the seat was comfy enough for the couple of hours i was on it and the suspension is awesome didn't really find it through you over bumps and i wasn't going very fast as i hate cold roads (not to mention mud and grit) but it feels confidence inspiring!
Anyway only thing i miss from my RSVR was the down low acceleration. When i got my RSVR the it was geared down (or up i never get this right?) alot (stock is 17-42) and it was running 15- 44 and i thought it would be out of control but i absolutely loved it! And top speed (on track of course ) was still over 140 indicated which was plenty for me.
So after this long nattering post i'm basically asking a (hopefully) simple question.
If im correct stock gearing on my bike is 16 - 38 with a 108 525 chain?
I am thinking of getting the sexy orange supersprox rear in a 41 and keeping the 16 front so would be 16-41 my question is what size chain do i need to go up to, i know you can swap stuff on the back but id rather get a longer chain will 110 be enough or will i need to go upto 112?
Cheers dukers
