I remember seeing someone's setup to hold a bicycle on a BMW motorcycle. It was a mass produced thing. Does anyone know what that's called.
I'd need some kind of rack for my kiteboard. It'll have to sit alongside the bike to minimize the wind resistance.
I've seen bikes (pedal driven though) with surfboards mopunted along the side in Oz.
Carrying a board on the back doesn't work. I've tried it and I almost flew off the bike - this was doing 50 km/h (30 mph) in the city. But a skateboard is so small, it might be fine to carry on the back.
Do you need to bring an extra helmet? Don't you have one on your head already when riding your bike?

try any backpack from Volcom / Element / DaKine etc...
or my favourite:

that's what I used to use before giving up on 4 wheels and no suspension
I found a rack for surfboards:

I think it would need to be slightly modified to be safe on a SD though...

I got one of these. My motorcycle shop ordered it for me.

Who thought of making a pack with no lumbar support? Skateboards are heavy. Especially the ones 37 year old men ride.
Since it had no lumbar support, so I sewed on 2" webbing with fastex buckles. Bad ass!
I'm working on a Saturday, which sucks. I'm going to the park after work, which is great.
When I'm sitting up, my skateboard rests on the seat. It's about perfect.
