Got a slipper at home, long story short just wondering what brand everyone is running and what spring rate you are all using ?

Also can you tell me where in the range your springs are

ie, your kit contained 3 different springs and your using the middle one
STM here mate, it has 2 large springs, the Promary spring is a 140kg weight and the smaller secondary spring is a 50kg weight spring!

This info will only help you if you have an STM though, otherwise its meaningless

I've got the KTM hardparts Suter clutch, comes with 3 springs i'm using the middle one.
I've started with the Suter middle spring and now I had the 1500N one. Not so big difference in the feeling! I never felt that nice feeling on the clutch levers I felt my first couple of days!!

Sls.
thanks to those that have answered

more input required please, come on the rest of you !!!
I've got a Suter as well. Got the middle spring plate fitted as I really didn't know what to start with. Love it....but I think that I will never be a good enough track rider to even come close to thinking about trying one of the other springs - this one seems fine and it's great for road and track. Maybe one day I'd just swap over to see the difference but I bet I couldn't. I was on it today in London traffic and down shifting quite heavily at the approach to lights so I didn't have to use the brakes. You can really drop it a few gears at a time and pretty much dump the clutch - you get the slight juddering feeling in the lever but that tells you the thing is working and it's a seemless, smooth deceleration without all that squirming about that I remember from the pre-slipper days. Really great bit of kit, you can still be a clutch/gearbox junkie and enjoy the riding experience but it just makes things better - not robs you of control.

PS. It's a shame that this adjustment is not easier/quicker to do or that it isn't infinate and remotely adjustable like a steering damper. But maybe one day?

Just fit one and enjoy it is what I say.
I have the sigma unit.

GSXR1000 K4 springs - no idea of the spring weight.
