People round our way refer to Monsters as hairdressers bikes here too! theres a guy just up the road from me with a S4RS - always immaculate with immaculate matching leather an helmet, only ever see it come out of the gagrage to be cleaned or if theres not a cloud in the sky!!! (the guy spends more time polishing than riding - id swear he even polish`s his knee sliders!)

#10As a street bike, my SD is certainly a keeper. The S4RS is very nice bike, with top notch components and better breathing up top than the SD, for sure.
Its funny that you call them hairdresser's bikes. I know two people that own an S4RS. One is an older gent that can't physically handle a 999 anymore, but straigtht as can be. The other is as a queer as a football bat

#11inshala, Me too, I was trying to hold mine up off the ground with 7 broken ribs along with a long list of other broken bones,
punctured lung, while sliding on the asphalt! joe must love her. first bike I ever named, had more fun on it than any bikes before her.
funny the hair dresser bikes, I know a dude with a monster he does keep his hair very in place, carries a can of hairspray in the Ducati rucksack!
my SD looks like hell most of the time, I do not detail this bike but twice a year, I ride her every day rain or snow.... (less than an inch deep).
I am married to the bitch and will only leave her for a SDR first pick right now but the RC8 keeps sneaking in,
the longer I own a naked the more I am in me b day suit?....

Thanks for the offer. That's very nice. However, sad, but true: I don't mess w/used bikes much. I'm also waiting for the '09. My wife already has an '08. I gotta' get a different color. It is a great little bike. It is the best balanced, all-around bike I've found, yet. Nothing much on paper, but a great, useable ride. That and an RR oughtta' do me nicely.
