#19I aint 55 yet or got a grey beard and dribble, (unless i'm asleep ) neither have i got a dirty t.shirt with HD on it. Is it me but why do i hate those Yank pieces of sh*te so much. Here in the Uk we don't do straight roads, unless your on the motorway!. Twisty roads SD/R I reckon with the way the scrap market surely a Harley is worth more in scrap

#26I ran the Akro evos without baffles and as long as you don't ride like a prick in town they're not that obtrusive , or so I've been told. When you sit on the bike they sound hellish but remember the cans are a fair bit closer to your head than a traditional exhaust and the inverse square law applies with sound. Like drag, and lighting, etc, - halve the distance, square the value, not double it.

But around here (east coast Kanada) it seems that the Hogs and other cruiser type bikes can run with wide open straight pipes with impunity. I think this is mostly because thats the same type of bike the cops ride when they're off duty...Instead the cop gang focuses its attention on the sounds coming from sports bikes, naked bikes, etc....
I'm not sure I'd make any more power without baffles...my bike has a PCIII and is dyno-tuned by a professional racing mechanic to make some serious power...baffles in.
