#5felt the same emotions before my first race. Lucky for me the out come was in no way painful.
Would still like to be doing it now but as you know, EVERYTHING gets put on the back boiler, you spend all week at work thinking about the weekend and all nights working on the bike, and the money
I had sponsorship, 38 ton truck with race trailer/workshop/sleeping. so no cost to me to get to the meetings or for accomadation. They helped out with entry fees and tyres and it still cost over £10000 a year.
Still enjoy several trackdays a year though and a few trips to The Ring

that was class. The start was well hairy but it was great to see him find his rythm and move up. The different lines he could take when leading proved how good he was and how busy it must have been in the corners before he took lead.
