Hi all fairly new to the Superduke, but love it to bits, and have been thinking of a few things to do to the superduke for the winter

It is currently an 57 plate with akros with baffles removed

So my thoughts are to get a PCM III, and maybe the motoholligan airbox ( buterflies etc)

I know i will be able to gain some Hp and Trq but its not my main goal, however saying that some midrange punch would be nice , i have just got rid of my 700 hp car, for something slower lol the thing i really want is to make sure the fueling etc is bang on, and wondered if the motoholligan box really does make the difference.

so are these the best mods to carry out on the SD or maybe just a PCMIII with the cans and stop there

many thanks

Phil
What do you think is wrong with the fuelling?

Because if it were me, unless I had a major issue with it there's no way I'd be throwing £££ at it !
it just seems really rich, but am i right in thinking bikes run slightly rich ?

open the throttle real hard and then say have you have to back off, large back fire

also low rpm its not very smooth when you come off the throttle, maybe just traits of the SD i am not used to
Think you might be looking at an exhaust leak rather than fuelling. There is a graphite gasket on the join in the rear header pipe that fails quite often, this allows air in causing lots of popping on the over run. Common problem.
The Akra map is rich, very rich. The backfire probably caused by the SAS system. If you have the money and inclination then Motobox, Motoflyz, and a custom map are nice things to have and will improve the bike.
