i only have one key for my 08 ktm 990 duke and wanted another. i found a website where i can order the blank for a good price using the key blank code 40011166100. I have heard some people say their dukes had an immobilizer and some not. Im sure it depends on the year. Anyone know if my 08 has an immobilizer and what i have to do to get a spare key cut? Will i be able to just bring my key along with the blank to the locksmith and have a turn and go deal? or will i need to have it programmed in some way? There are no ktm dealers on this island so that is not an option.

#2i dont think SDs of any year come with a imoblizer built in, some guys may have added one with an alarm
