Speed cameras...

This is interesting. Piece on Speed cameras busy saving us all from ourselves, aren’t they great etc. But in several of the examples given the accident has been caused by the speed camera itself… Still fantastic though...apparently.

ever since i got my SD just over a year ago i've been riding around as though speed cameras just don't exist ( just completely forgot ) and around here ( CA. ) there are plenty . I'm always over the speed limit significantly...

Is there some reason i haven't been nabbed yet ? are the bike plates too small or have i just been lucky.

I have the same problem but with a slightly different outcome, I tend to get nicked..

If you go fast e-nuf for the cops to make some big money they might send you a deposit slip. They have thier hand full with other big fish.
You hear about the one who got a ticket from a speed camera in the mail? The speeder sent a photo copy of money back in the mail. The cops in turn sent a photo copy of hand cuffs.
I am lucky to have cops who pull me over for speeding that are are just normal people. I pull my helment off asap to show my gray hair. Works somethimes. Last ticket the cop said "Oh, a Ducati. I could not ride a Ducati slow either". Got the ticket...it's just road tax...Frinkin' had fun last night...no tickets. Some times you win...sometimes you pay.
