Post 2 by Stupid Luke,
#2That could be cheap or could be dear.
First service at 500 miles was an oil change
Second service at 4500 miles was an oil change and a bit more. I paid a bit over 100 quid, less than 200 on both of mine
Third service at 9000 miles was a fair bit plus a shim check. These cost from 450 - 600 quid at a KTM dealer. If this is the service you got it was cheap. So dealers now do this one at 4500 miles so again 350 quid is cheap and next service will be a small one.
Most of the bill is labout though, so unless you still have warranty find an independant with a good reputation and pay 40 quid per hour for a guy you trust rather than 100 quid per hour for a franchised dealer who will let the YTS boy service your bike.
