#6I keep hearing about this stuff more and more and they keep saying crime is going down in the UK. Good luck chap sorting it out. Makes you think about leaving anything alone now.

#10sorry to hear that, thats so bad, what damage is there to your bike.
Tip-If you live in England or wales and have a bike/car stolen the Police will ask if you authorise recovery for scenes of crime to look at your vehicle it will cost £130-£220 to get it back from the recovery agents payable by yourselves. Weigh up the odds, you can always drive/ride it and home and get it done there, they only brush for fingerprints and dont take seat scapings or anything more extensive like that. Just make sure you wear gloves.
