Springs. Too hard but what do I fit?

I know there are threads on this but just to make it easier to get a clue what springs I need just give me a clue as to what might work.
I'm riding an 07 SDR. Full Evo Akra which has reduced the weight by a few kilos. I weight about 178 in full kit and at the mo both ends even when set on comfort settings. Mainly road use, crap UK roads with too many speed bumps.
Springs at the mo are 9.5 front and 180 rear. Tried an 05 bike this morning ( cheers Nick) and this felt much closer to what might suit. Trouble is I've bought a 150 rear and 8.5 fronts that FTR suspension said would work for me. Now I think can I trust this advice?

I should think the 8.5 fronts should work for you but the 150 rear would be going back to them unless your planning on dropping a couple of stone!?

The 160 spring would suit you better and would allow more adjustment for trackday usage as well as road use!

I thought i had 1 in the garage from my old shock but cant find it anywhere

Ive a 07 SDR and weigh 12 and a quarter stone with kit on and ive left the front springs alone but changed the rear to a 170 and fit the gel seat.
Im used to having the rear hard with owning Kawa ZX10Rs,also its better if your wanting to do the odd trackday and ride hard.

I also have just installed .85 front and 150 rear on my 07 sdr with akros.
If you are using it for road use mainly you should be ok, I am 70kg with no gear on and have set the front at 40mm rider sag.
This is with the preload all the way out, on the rear I have set it at 35mm rider sag, running close to comfort settings with a few clicks here and their.
You are a wee bit heavier than me so a 160 rear might be better, but a 150 should work.
Our roads are very bumpy too and the bike is now compliant to ride.
