doctypo, I actually called that dealer and they do have lots of parts for the SD but not what I need.
KTMax, my suspension has been setup properly and it did improved a lot but I still "personally" feel like it needs a steering damper. Personal choice I guess.
el bubba, I just realised that both mounting kit(old and new) have the same part number. That's kind of strange. Any machine shop you would recommend? That might be a solution.
Anyway this is the part I'm looking for:

#9For work I use a machine shop called JWP mfg. They are on the corner of Aldo and De La Cruz in San Jose. They are really good, but not the cheapest shop. In the past I've used another place called Wilkinson. The guy that runs the place is a classic Triumph (bike, not car) owner, so he might be more familiar with what you need. Other shops I've used include Tri-Axis and SH Engineering. They are all good shops. Really, the parts aren't that complicated. However, you are going to have to give them dimensions and bolt sizes. A drawing would be best.
What does the part that holds the steering damper body attach to on the triple clamp?
When I first got my bike, it felt like it could benefit from a steering damper. Now it feels as planted as any bike I've ridden and don't feel the need for one. I have a Ohlins damper left over from my ZX-10R that I was going to make brackets for, but I'm not going that route anymore.
