Steering damper: Worth it?

I can get the setup for 20% off from dealer for the next 3 months. Is it worth it (assuming the breakage problem is now addressed)? I need the damper and mount kit only, right?

Thanks.
Well, I got my SD yesterday and after riding a 2005 Blade for 2 years, I was very happy the dealer fitted one before delivery.

I rode a demo without it and wasn't happy, especially over 180kph (111mph), and hitting heavy bumps.

Having said that, I've been turning the damper down since, because I'm getting used to the bike, but I'm still really happy I got it free as part of the deal
GET ONE!!!!! If I had a dampener on my old '05 it would still be alive today!
The dealership took the dampener off my SD-R but it turned it into a freaking handful so I've put it back on.

Wow you guys must have some nice roads over your way.
Mines lethal without at times but I tend to hog into more often than not.
Personally I'd take the 20% off deal while it's there though.
I was delightfully surprised with me pumpkin @ the track, the track is terribly rough to me,
my favorite roads to cook on are generaly smooth, she was so behaved but,,,
nasty as hell with the torque coming out of the corners, she had absolutely NO HEADSHAKE,
I was impressed for such a light bike it seem to be compliant.
I am still........waiting for my damn SDR tail kit? my god this takes forever!
