#4A while back ago I was having the same problem. What happend was the throttle grip had worked its way out towards the end of the bar and was sticking on the bar end. Simple problem, just push the grip back to its original position and check it from time to time. OEM grips.

simple problem easily fixed thankfully
seems like major issue when you spot it though and runs all manner of expensive scenarios through your mind hey!
