#7My friend just picked up a brand new mat black Speed triple. He is still getting acquainted. We are going on a ride soon and I'll let you know how it stacks up against the SDR.
I just got back from Veges, It was hot as hell! I couldn't imagine riding in that heat 105+! I am sure it will be better in Sep. but not much.
Good luck on your trip and please let us know, like cjc said some of us might end up at the Gap for a SD ride.
