what do you guys reckon to this??

I've sent a question asking what damage was done when it was stolen, and also why it has a black swingarm...

Anything else I should be wary of?

Looks like wheels have been done black too, the only thing that concerns me is the finish, a lot of us would like our swingarms black and some have had theirs powdercoated or anodised but from the pictures I'm wondering if these have only been sprayed.

Might just be the picture but the finish just doesn't look right to me, all I'm seeing when I look at it is track bike, I wouldn't have it for the road.

What are "Normal" 05/06 SDs going for these days? is £4000 cheap or not really?

To be honest if it's a decent spray job with a good two pack then a painted finish will be just as good as powdercoating.
Trouble is how would you tell if they did or not.

Looking on the one pic the one showing the rear calliper you can see the swing arm is dented as well The swing arm could of been anodised? One of the photo's show it has a bluey tinge to it, dunno though! Just in the process of doing my wheels and swing arm and everyone say it's got to be powder Even two pack aint as durable and by the looks of things powder coatin is cheaper too!!

ex track bike, had a low side, claimed it was stolen, magically reappeared. In the US, when a bike is totaled out by insurance adjusters, theres a few extra steps to go through before its street legal again, if at all. Some states wont allow a rebuild on a bike that has been totaled out.

There is a small dent on the swingarm also...probably some dings on the frame too
