Sturzpads Crash Bungs

Anyone have any experience with these:

I like the price and the mounting setup looks better than the R&Gs. One concern I have is it looks like they are mounted about two inches closer to your knees than the R&Gs.

Would love to hear from any users.

And what have you been smoking?!? Recent "trip" to Amsterdam? I like the idea of bending/breaking a bolt in a secondary mount instead of a bolt in a frame mount... Another set of frame sliders is waaaay cheaper than repairing one of the upper mount points on the frame. JMNSHO...
