superb ride..
first SD to arrive and knew it was the right place as there was a street triple in the car park, and against insturctions (as always) pointed the fellow down the road to the nearest bmx track!!! Luke turned up then shade and Twisted Jester all popping and farting !! then schnauzer and Colonel Klinck too so there it was , chatting in the car park for ten mins then off we went...i had flash backs to twat nav navigation we had in northern france on last years Nurburging and Spa trip..we ended up in cow pat covered roads with hedges either side , we might as well have been in Cornwall!! then glory be to god the road opened up and saw Luke running wide on the other side of the road as only someone who knew the roads would...he tipped it in over a bridge and flipped right...now we were on it.
Fair play we waited at junctions and everyone moved on to the next stretch of fast but safe road riding..max speed all day was 127 playing catch up after getting stuck behind a car...
tea time...stopped at a biker friendly fishing lake with nice bacon sarnies and even nicer waitresses!! nuff said...time for a bite and a mug of tea and for luke to smoke 40 tabs and we headed off again towards Rye.
A nice run into Rye on some very fast A roads and no old bill..which was a bonus..Rye was rammed with the usual bank holiday traffic and spent most of the time admiring myself in shop window reflections..
then off to the piece de l'resistance..Camber...nifty or it would be if there wastn 3 miles of cars queing to get to the beach..but once past this steel caterpiller the road emptied and it was on it for 4-5 miles of fast riding..
nice!! then my ride ended with the lads and i headed off to eastbourne to meet the family while everyone else headed back north to various footy matches, bar-b-ques etc...
great to meet:
Shade...pop pop popping along...
Twisted Jester...doubled the weight of his bike with his face jewellery
Luke...quiet, fast, stealthlike
Schnauzer, sporting a dirty minx of a bike with evidence of track rash!!
Colonel Kinck, male model, hair wax out as soon as the helmet was off!!!
and triumph rider (cant remember his name..nice bloke , )
cheers guys loved it.. and got my new tyres scrubbed in nicely
