The throttle response can be a little jerky at low speed and the tank range is poor, but the '07 model has a bigger tank which will help. The Akras and remap have solved 90% of the jerkiness.
Reliability - not had any problems other than stalling (which is a fault on the '05 model due to the tank and fuel pump design - sorted for '06).

#3I've read somewhere, alterations to the ECU have eliminated the jerky fuel injection on the '07 bikes, also slightly altered steering geometry making it more stable at speed. Superduke R gets a steering damper but I don't think it needs it. So thats all the problems sorted on the new bike, form an orderly queue here!

also came from an off-road (& then supermoto) background, this is the funnest bike i've ridden. period.
been riding mine to work every day for the last year & a half, i always enter the office with a huuuuge grin my co-workers hate me on monday mornings.
have'nt had any reliabality issues with mine, but the usual gremlins are:
1. starter makes explosive sounds, almost every owner who has had this happened to them has got the starter replaced under warranty at no extra charge.
2. the clutch -mainly on 05 models- was also covered under warranty. I've had no problems with mine yet, so could anyone shed some more light on this?
3. low speed throttle twitchiness. problem solved with akrapovic cans & re-map. i'm not saying that it's a great fix (seeing as the akras go for 1000euros at best), but the weight savings are huge and the bike runs so much cooler (the stock cans run at about 600°C). Not to mention the power & sweet sound
4. best bang for buck mod once you get the SD: 16t front sprocket.... completely transforms the bike and helps ease the throttle twitchiness a bit. shorter gear ratios are a blast, as noone wants to ride at 250km/h on a naked bike like this
are you getting the R model or the normal 07 Superduke?

#15I feel sorry for you guys accross the pond, we've had the Superduke for nearly two years now, it must really suck not being able to have one while we've all been having a blast! Not to worry, won't be long now and you''l see what you've been missing!!!
