#3How can prices be lower if they don't offer the bike for sale? You mean prices on the discontinued standard 2009 Superduke or price on the still offered SD990R?

#6I feel like a guy riding a Vincent Rapide in the early 50's...and seeing that they now only make the less reliable Black Shadow..and that too will be gone by 1955.
Its amazing that the Superduke has gone from Motorcycle magazine's Motorcycle of the Year in 2007 to "discontinued" in less than three years...
...but bike models come and go....
..and there is nothing like riding a classic...

I was think you were a Brit. Now that I know you are an Aussie, no worries.
Dodged many bullets and sent a few down range over the last 3 years with some Diggers in the sand box. Will probably never say anything bad about Australia. You guys are about as arrogant as Yanks, though.
1:1 is amazing since just a year ago some of my "mates" were really feeling the 60 cents to the AU$ pain!

#27I just bought my 08 SD new, OTD, with ridiculous CA sales tax and license fees for around $8600. I added some extras: gel seat, axle sliders, tank pad and fork bleeders that bumped the OTD price to around $8900.

#28DAMN!!! I bought mine used, 700 miles on it in 07....For $11K!!!! Oh well. I couldn't tell the future, if I could, I'd have won lotto by now!!!!!
