I want to get a Superduke but I really want to get a Superduke R.
The dealers here in the states tell me that the R will only be available overseas this year and USA next year.
Has anybody actually seen one anywhere?
Are they selling them in Europe yet?
Not yet available here in the uk..... in the next month or so im led to believe..... and 08 for the states.
I could wait till '08 if I thought there was a good chance of snagging one then.

Keep me posted when they show up over there.

Thanks.

Must be getting closer.
I see that there is now information about the "R" on the KTM site.
M+S Newcastle have two in the original workshops at the minute if anyone wants a good look. (Just ask the lads in the showroom). Both are already plated up for the road so they won't be there long.
First impressions for me -
1, Not keen on all the flat/satin black.
2, Seat pad looks good for 100 miles before total arse failure.
3, Luvverly orange frame. mmmmmmmmm

Methinks I'll hang on to my 05 and maybe buy some more goodies.

Stabak here you go! Pic of stripped subframe...

Thanks Bodge, what I'm really after is to see if there are the pivots on the subframe for the regular seat but hopefully my frustration will end this week

If the weather is good and my schedule permits, I am going to make the 510 mile drive Saturday to pick up my new Superduke R.

Any buyer's advice of what to look for on new delivery would be appreciated.

I would also like to hear from those in the states on how lean the bike was set up or was it ok.
