Superduke R - NEW SEAT

Hi All,

I just got my seat foamed and covered by Viking Vinyl in London. It looks superb IMO, and it's much more comfy.

They are mobile, it took one hour and cost £75.

I actually prefer the look over standard.

Sweet! did they just add foam to the original?
It does look good, and subtle too!

Did you see what they actually did?

Was it like foam cut to shape and glued on?
They cut out part of the original seat and inserted layers of foam, then covered that in a thick cover, and then another grippy cover on top.

It's actually quite soft when you push down in the middle, but you still feel the edges of the actual seat against your thigh, due to the shape. I don't think anything can remove that.

I did 160 miles yesterday on the standard seat, and was actually ok - so with this upgrade I'll happily take this bike to the south of France now.

...and yes it's fully waterproof.
