Picked up a new 2012 adventure 990r and was surprised how smooth the motor feels, compared to my 08 superduke which is brutal and abrupt . Ktm claims the adv 990r has the same hp as the superduke, but the duke feels much faster. I came from dirt bikes, and personally like the abruptness of the duke. Curious if someone knows what has changed in the fueling. Is the fueling on the newer European superduke's different also?

#4Really? I don't remember the duke with the stock exhaust running that smooth, but but it wasn't on the bike very long ( first 100 miles). Swaping out the exhaust will make that much of a difference on the adv? The duke feels like a temperamental, pissed off, bad ass bike...I like that
